ABOUT THE FORGE
Since the beginning of time humans have created. We are a curious species. We try to understand the world and use our surroundings to better our life.

Working in a blacksmith shop a long time ago I learned how to take raw material and apply heat and pressure to shape objects of utility and primitive beauty. There was a patina of usefulness in their form and aesthetic. Not perfect, but beautiful in the roughness of shape. You could tell a human hand and mind touched the work and transformed the iron though fire and sweat into humble objects that now have purpose and meaning.

And so this forge is the place I will use to bring my ideas to life and into the world. Although not perfect, together we can have a conversation about the idea's greater purpose and meaning. And maybe one of these ideas might go on to be bigger and better than we could hope. But it must start somewhere... with the simple strike of the hammer.
